Guild Wars: Eye of the North (abgekürzt GW:EN (offiziell), GWEN, oder EotN) ist die offizielle Erweiterung der ersten Guild Wars-Reihe, die am Freitag, den 31. August 2007 veröffentlicht wurde. Der vierte Teil der Serie ist ein reines Add-On. Es wird also mindestens einer der drei Vorgänger benötigt, um in den Spielgenuss zu kommen. Ein Tutorial ist auch nicht vorhanden, da es nur für Charaktere auf Stufe 20 gedacht war. Seit dem GW:EN Sonder-Event kann man bereits mit Stufe 10 auf der Reise nach Norden das Gebiet erkunden. GW:EN setzt die Geschichte von Prophecies fort und handelt vom Kampf gegen den großen Zerstörer. Seinen Namen hat das Spiel von einem Turm in den Fernen Zittergipfeln (dem Teil der Zittergipfel nördlich der nördlichen Zittergipfel), der eine nicht zu verachtende Rolle in GW:EN spielt.
