Anmerkungen

  • When Shiro uses this skill, he will shout the party member's name he is banishing in the form, "<player name>, banished!"
  • The banished party member will be whisked away to a dark realm representing The Mists. In their place will appear a spirit binder named Bound <profession name> that will fight alongside Shiro.
  • Destroying the spirit binder will bring back the banished party member. Note that, although the bound spirits are not technically bosses, killing them will give your party a morale boost, recharging all of the party's skills including celestial skills.
  • In The Mists, the player will encounter an Oracle of Time, who will tell the player to run up the ramp and into the teleporter to return to the fight with Shiro. The path to the teleporter is guarded by several pairs of level 24 Spirits of The Mists with the same abilities as Bloodsong, Dissonance, Pain and Disenchantment. Speed enhancing enchantments will be stripped.
  • Shiro almost always uses this skill on a party member with very low maximum health points. In theory, this means that the chosen player will have the least likely chance of surviving the trip up to the teleporter compared to any other member in the party. Death penalties and morale boosts do apply to this decision, but the current level of health (after taking damage, etc.) does not.
  • On one occasion when Echoing Banishment was used on a Paragon, the Paragon was replaced with a Bound Warrior, it is not known if this is consistent. The profession or professions of a Dervish's replacement bound spirit is unknown.
