Vorlage:Übersetzungs-stub Headgear is the general term used for the piece or armor that's applied to the head of a character.

Profession headgear

The standard profession specific headgear generally provides a +1 bonus for any attribute of the profession.

The headgear has a specific name and appearance for each profession:

Feiertagsmützen

Festival hats are a type of special headgear handed out as a reward during seasonal Events. While you are able to attach runes to them (not insignia, however), these headgears are not meant to have any functional value because they have an armor level of zero. They are merely collector items, for fun and for looks. (An exception was a monk farming build based on Spirit Bond, before it was nerfed, where having the lowest armor possible was an asset.)

Most festival hats cannot be dyed. Currently, the only exceptions are Tengu Masks and Dragon Masks, which are dyed yellow by default, and Jester's Caps and Lion Masks, which are dyed red by default.

Like all armor, festival hats are always customized and cannot be equipped by anyone other than the character who originally obtained it.

Event headgear may be copied from one PvE character to another on the same account by a festival hat maker.
